Empowering Women, Accelerating Change: A Call to Action for Organizations during our celebration of International Woman Day

InnovaCreate is proud to celebrate International Women's Day by highlighting initiatives that enhance women's career advancement and foster an inclusive workplace culture.


Our goal is to inspire other business leaders to drive positive change for future generations of women leaders. Here are the key actions we've implemented for transformation:


  1. Closing the Leadership Gap with the InnovaCreate Mentoring Program

    Developing mentorship and sponsorship programs is crucial to advancing women into science, engineering, and executive roles. The InnovaCreate Mentoring Program was established to facilitate the career pathways of young women and men through one-on-one mentoring sessions focused on professional selection, career application, growth, and scientific topics such as statistics, research, product development, and material characterization. Currently, the program includes two undergraduate students from the 5th year of Chemical Engineering (one woman, one man) at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus, and one student of the 1st year of Chemical Engineering (one woman) at the University of Pittsburgh.

    Additionally, InnovaCreate encourages employee participation in women's leadership programs to build competencies for future executive roles. Our women executives are actively involved in voluntary and sponsorship roles, supporting and mentoring other women through organizations such as American Mothers, Inc., ASQ Women in Quality, Professional Engineering Organizations; and Women Startup Ecosystems in Puerto Rico, New York, and California.

  2. Work-Life Balance & Flexible Policies through Technology

    InnovaCreate has established policies to support flexible work arrangements, maternal and parental leave, and a supportive workplace culture. We have observed increased business productivity as a result of these work-life balance policies. By promoting team collaboration and engagement, we offer flexibility, improved work hours, and remote work opportunities to better manage family responsibilities. These policies are supported by technology, including AI assistance, virtual conferencing, instant communication, and access to laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and cloud services.

  3. Building Inclusive Leadership Cultures in Every Business Discussion and Decision

    Organizations that foster a culture valuing diverse perspectives and leadership styles are known to accelerate innovation and drive business growth. InnovaCreate's core culture emphasizes inclusivity in our narratives, brainstorming sessions, team assignments, and all critical business operations, enabling us to enhance innovation daily.

  4. Investing in Women’s Development for Business Growth

    As an innovation and engineering consulting firm, InnovaCreate promotes staff participation in competitive programs to develop expertise in engineering, technology, statistics, and entrepreneurship. Our team is engaged in certifications and business competitions facilitated by peer professionals, fulfilling requirements for certifications associated with Professional Engineering, the American Society of Quality, the Project Management Institute, Executive Coaching, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Artificial Intelligence Applications, New Product Introduction, Federal Regulations, and more. We encourage our women leaders to pursue promotions, new roles, and opportunities to leverage their skills and experience for greater responsibility. We have also developed InnovaCreate Uni, offering asynchronous courses that include mentoring and coaching sessions for practical workplace application and project assignments for InnovaCreate associates and professional leaders globally. Our culture promotes upskilling, leadership training, and networking opportunities to advance women's careers.

  5. Equal Pay & Fair Opportunities through Salary Range Analysis

    InnovaCreate monitors the gender salary range ratio to ensure equal pay and fair opportunities. We have set sustainable goals to increase the presence of women in leadership positions. Our collaboration with women's leadership organizations is essential to recruiting both women and men across all professional fields, with a focus on STEM careers. Our commitment to equal and fair opportunities is reflected in our recruitment and enrollment processes, ensuring diverse and inclusive business leadership at all organizational levels, prepared to drive innovation.
